Ballroom dance refers to traditional partnered dance forms that are done by a couple, often in the embrace of close dance position. This includes Waltz, Cha cha, Foxtrot, Jive, Lindy hop, Mambo, Paso Doble, Quickstep, Rumba, Samba, Tango and Viennese Waltz.

Course Outline | Participants will learn the Waltz, Tango, Slow Foxtrot, Quick-step and Viennese Waltz. They will also learn dancehold, connection, balance, co-ordination & movement, foot-action, swing, lead-and-follow and floor-craft. |

Instructor
Melvyn Low Hock Leong has more than 30 years of teaching experience, specialising in group and private coaching for competitive and social dancers, demonstrations, lectures and adjudication. He has been crowned Champion of South-East Asia Professional Standard Ballroom Dance Championships for 15 times. Melvyn is a member of London’s National Association of Teachers of Dancing (Ballroom) and an International Adjudicator with the World Dance Council.
