Origin
of Darts
The origin of darts was
never firmly established
but it is likely to date
back to the medieval times
in England. It is believed
that darts started out as
a form of training in archery.
Arrows were shortened and
hurled at the upturned covers
of empty wine barrels. As
darts grew in popularity,
the cross-section of a tree
became a better and more
convenient target. The rings
of the tree provided radial
divisions, much like our
present version of a darts
board. |

in the Club |
The
game of accuracy and precision has
been drawing the participation of
more and more darters, increasing
the strength of the Fraternity. The
teams are also making new waves in
tournaments and competitions, gaining
much recognition in the inter-club
scene. |
