Squash
Origin of Squash
The sport that used to be known as Squash Rackets is believed to have originated in the 19th century at the Harrow School in England. This evolved from the English game of Rackets. Students of the Harrow School discovered this exciting new sport when they threw a punctured Rackets ball against a wall and it “squashed” on impact, marking the birth of a popular new game in English boarding schools.
