Chess
RECREATIONThe Club’s fraternity is small but there are always activities organised all year round such as Allegro Chess, Junior Chess Blitz and Chess Open. We also invite chess players competing at National Level to spar with our players during the SGCC Simultaneous Chess. The Club also hosts the yearly TCA Chess Open Tournament which attracts chess players from all corners of Singapore. If you are keen in learning chess, you can sign-up for our chess lessons. We also organize chess sparring session every Friday for players to brush up their skills.

Instructor
Lincoln Yap is a FIDE (Federation Internationale des Echecs – World Chess Federation) instructor and International Arbiter (IA). He is an experienced chess coach who is accredited by the Singapore Chess Federation (SCF) and a qualified trainer of the Singapore National Junior Squad. He is also MOE-registered and teaches regularly at SCF and at various schools in Singapore and the Philippines.
